Anna de Pencier

Anna is a U4 chemical enginerring student from Toronto, Ontario. She is passionate about the future of sustainable energy solutions and is hoping to use her degree to work in the green energy sector in some capacity. In her spare time, she enjoys going on canoe trips, solving crosswords, and spending time with family and friends.

Toby Beker-Flah

Toby is a fourth year Political Science student minoring in Economics and History. As a sports fanatic, he takes a particular interest in Formula 1's regulations shift to entirely sustainable fuel and more sustainable practices. He is passionate about how other sports are lagging behind in conservation and sustainability improvements. 

Casey Feehan

As a fourth-year Economics and Politics student, Casey is keen to bring some wisdom to the MEA and continue exploring his particular interests in renewable energy and nuclear technologies. Through past positions at McGill and beyond, he has gained experience in business operations and developed a growing understanding of the ever-changing energy sector.

Theo Casset

Theo is a U3 Economics student with minors in Math and Computer Science. He is very passionate about the energy transition, and the structure of the energy market. In his free time, he likes to go skiing and scuba diving. His love of the outdoors is what made him want to get involved and raise awareness about sustainability.

Samantha Brown

Sam is a third year International Development student, with a minor in Psychology. She is very interested in human and environmental rights issues, Indigenous Studies, as well as the intersection between sustainability and business. Beyond academics, she is passionate about spending time with friends and the outdoors---either skiing in the winter or camping in the summer!

Ruby Phillips

Ruby is a third year International Development and Political Science students with a minor in Economics.  Ruby is dedicated to exploring the intersections between energy and sustainable development on a global scale. Beyond academics, she is passionate about the outdoors, skiing, hiking, and can be found competing as a part of McGill's sailing team.

Avery Wirth

Avery is in his last year of undergrad and excited to support sustainability work at MEA this year. His interests focus on sustainability in urban contexts, which has led him to roles with MUSTBus and Greenpeace McGill. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge on how the energy transition can be approached in the most sustainable way, beginning with the work we do on campus.

Claire Missoum

Claire is a third-year Linguistics student pursuing minors in Cognitive Science and Russian. She is deeply interested in how language shapes our patterns of energy use. Outside of MEA, she enjoys playing guitar, bouldering, and winter camping with the McGill Outdoors Club. As VP Communications, she aims to share MEA’s knowledge and initiatives with the wider McGill community.

Norah Kealy

Norah is a fourth-year studying Political Science and minoring in Russian Language and English Literature. This is her third year with the MEA. She is very interested in international efforts towards green energy and climate policy. As Co-VP communications, she helps to run the MEA's social media platforms and website.

Abby Hunter

Abby is a U2 student studying Psychology and Economics. This is her first year with the MEA. She is interested in sustainable urban design and sustainable energy. As Director of External, she manages outreach to organizations outside of McGill to promote the club and sustainable energy. Beyond academics, she enjoys canoe tripping, traveling, and swimming. 

Georgia Clubb

Georgia is a second-year student and member of the McGill Energy Association. She’s passionate about tackling the global energy crisis, and curious about how business practices can impact this. Georgia loves exploring the connection between energy, economics, and innovation, and hopes to help shape a more sustainable future. 

Coby Botos-Lehavy

Coby is a third-year student who grew up in Singapore, and as a first-year MEA member, he hopes to contribute meaningfully by raising awareness and supporting education on energy-related issues. Outside of academics, he enjoys both playing and watching sports—especially basketball, football and tennis.
